As part of their obligation, interns are aligned to a particular program of their interest. The core activities in muyog revolve around fundraising and resource mobilization, event planning, campaign strategies and Training among other activities deemed necessary for organization growth. MUYOG values and welcomes the new ideas and diverse experiences from volunteers across the globe. Such skills play a pivotal role in shaping the destiny MUYOG’s growth.
Muyog programs are based in Nairobi with volunteer placements located in suburban Nairobi and Marurui.
Start and Duration:
Programs begin at anytime of every month. Volunteers can choose to volunteer for periods ranging from 1 week to 24 weeks.
Volunteer and Interns Requirements:
Volunteers must be 18 years or older on the program start date and have at least a high school education. All volunteers must provide a criminal background check to Muyog partner staff on arrival in Kenya.
Volunteer or intern is incorporated in a host family, Hostel or other choice of accomodation is arranged on request.
The Host Families are well chosen to meet the needs of our volunteers or Interns.
