We are creating change agents by training and equipping young people of Marurui with the technological and entrepreneurial skills and networking opportunities needed to create jobs for themselves, qualify for the job market and create change in their communities.
We focus on technology, entrepreneurship and educational advancement through scholarship.
We identify young aspiring leaders, create the space to equip them with the skills and opportunities they need to effect change and take the lead in their communities.

What is Muyog?
Muyog (Marurui United Youth Organization) is a community based organization founded in 2003 as an endeavor by the youth of Marurui neighborhood, in Kenya in a bid to find solutions for poverty eradication.
Muyog has been a leading change agent in Kenya since inception. Muyog envisions every youth of Marurui having life in all its fullness free from suffering through maximization of the use of the available knowledge, skills and resources for the welfare of the youth and children in Marurui.
Our main aim is to seek alternative means of addressing poverty by engaging the youths and the community in proactive and productive ventures in environment conservation, garbage collection, ICT, literacy, feeding program, technical training, agribusiness, entrepreneurship and talent development.
Objectives of Muyog
- To promote Human Rights and Good governance among the youth of Marurui
- To promote environmental health awareness programs and activities
- To promote the use of ICT as a means for sustainable growth and development
- To tackle the problems of poverty and unemployment by initiating and encouraging Jua Kali sector, self-help projects and capacity building.
- To promote information dissemination and education among the youth and children of Marurui.
